iPhone as a tech support tool
Ended today's errands with a stop at my mother-in-law's house to figure out what was wrong with her Internet connection. Turned out her Internet was fine, but her computer was throttled by a wayward security service. Took way too long to figure it out, but I ultimately did thanks in part to my iPhone, which let me both test the wifi network and look up info to help me narrow down the problem. Could have used my tablet for the job but using my pocketable handheld was definitely more convenient.
