In December, I warned of growing signs of a renewed draft (http://sumocat.blogspot.com/2006/12/get-ready-to-burn-your-draft-cards.html). But later Lt. General Douglas Lute (http://sumocat.blogspot.com/2007/05/if-i-had-no-lute.html) was appointed the new war czar and our worries were over... until today.
Today, Czar Lute agreed "it makes sense to certainly consider it." (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20070810/bush-war-adviser/) Well, of course it makes sense. Why else would the White House never consider it? If it didn't make sense, they'd be all over the idea, like Rummy's idea that the war wouldn't last six months. |

As a citizen of United States, when duty calls, you answer. Afterall, it is the people who elects the leader (assumed it is Bush) and there shall be no dissention.
Just kidding.
Or am I?

I am as loyal to our leaders as George Washington was to his king.
