New iMacs but no touching

Well, the new iMacs (http://tinyurl.com/29h9wy) were announced and it appears thin is in, but touch is not, which breaks my prediction. Certainly that's disappointing, at least in regards to expanding touch interface, but did they really need a press conference for such an incremental upgrade? Seriously, I wasn't hoping for a Mac Tablet (http://www.livedigitally.com/2007/07/31/apple-to-announce-ultraportable-tablet-mac/) or vast product line refresh, but thinner hardware and updated software is press release material at best.
