Death by Goose

Had a close encounter with a van and an SUV yesterday on account of a big flock of geese. Must have been a dozen geese, adults and chicks crossing Route 7. Two cars in font of us stopped. We stopped. The van behind us swerved right to avoid hitting us. The SUV behind them rolled into the median, going past us before stopping. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but being boxed in on two sides is a bad place to be when you see an SUV charging in behind you. Oh yes, the geese made it too.
