Does thinking alike mean minds are great?
Fellow Tablet PC enthusiast, blogger, and thinker Loren Heiny has made some waves lately with his thoughts regarding tablets and the iPhone. As usual, I find I must bow to his logic. But it's one thing to say I agree with someone; it's another to back it up with history.

Different circumstances, but it's pretty clear we're looking in the same direction. Not sure if that makes us "great minds", but I like the way we're thinking.

Change is good and I think we're going to be seeing more and more of it over the next year or so.
And, yes, I agree with you the iPhone is essentially a Tablet PC that makes calls. I heard a Walt Mossberg presentation the other day (can't find the link), where Mossberg also makes the comment that an iPhone is essentially a handheld computer that also makes calls. So I think there are at least three of us that are on the same page--probably more :-)

Mossberg agrees with us? Well, that kills the "great minds" theory. :P (Sorry, I just find him obtuse when it comes to mobile computers, like the UMPC.)
