HP tx2000 really is the Tablet PC to watch
Some might argue it's not hard to predict that an affordable, feature-rich, widely available Tablet PC would make a big splash. Well, I don't care because I made that prediction back in January (http://sumocat.blogspot.com/2008/01/hp-tx2000-is-tablet-pc-to-watch.html), so I'm going to enjoy the first signs that the prophecy is proving true.
The obvious signs are the early reviews and impressions of GottaBeMobile (http://www.gottabemobile.com/More+Early+Thoughts+On+The+HP+TX2051.aspx) and jkOnTheRun (http://www.jkontherun.com/2008/04/jkontherun--fir.html). It's not all sunshine and puppy dogs, but the big guns of Tablet PCs are impressed.
What's impressed me more is that a couple of first-time tablet owners have already sounded off on the GBM forum (http://www.gottabemobile.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=5242), proclaiming they're now hooked on "inky goodness". That's great to read (and not just because I was anticipating this model would pull in new users), especially given how recent the release was.
Time will tell if the buzz continues and pulls in more newbies, bet the early signs are very promising.

I've been seeing all the reviews of the tx2000... and I'm starting to wish I'd waited for it to come out instead of getting the tx1000. I love the whole "Entertainment" aspect to the TXs, but sometimes I kind of feel like I'm missing out on the real inking experience without an active digitizer. I might have to upgrade at some point if I can find one at a good price.

Heyy I'm really happy, I just ordered my new TX2021us, I hope to get it till Friday. This will be my 3rd tabletPC inthe last 3 years. I'll let you know how this pavillion works.
Since I checked the specs last year, I knew I have to buy one. After several months my dream come true. :)
