Touchy weekend: Macbook Air
Took a jump out to Tyson's Corner (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tysons_Corner_Center) this weekend to check out furnishings. Managed to stop by the Apple Store (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Store_(retail)) to put my hands on the Macbook Air (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacBook_Air), which has ensorcelled Tanya. Having finally handled one, I admit, I still don't see the big deal.
It's as thin and light as advertised, but you can't really feel that benefit without carrying it around. The multi-touch trackpad worked great, but it's still a trackpad, which I still don't like. Tanya really likes the Mac interface, but that's standard on any Mac running OS X Leopard. Overall, just another inkless notebook to me.
