It has come to my attention that mice attract snakes. Therefore, by killing mice (http://sumocat.blogspot.com/2008/03/i-guess-we-wont-have-rodent-problem.html), Patty (http://www.markandtanya.us/scribbles/clear.gif) is also reducing our attractiveness to snakes, which gives him something in common with his snake-banishing namesake.
