Nice thing about flying for twelve hours is it gives me a chance to catch up on media I've missed, such as Warner Crocker's entertaining demo of OneNote 2007 Mobile (, both on his smartphone and when synching to his Tablet PC. Good show, my friend.

Presentation aside, the demo did dampen my enthusiasm over this aspect of OneNote 2007. Currently, I record voice notes on my Pocket PC and they synch to my notes in Outlook. No automatic speech recognition, as with OneNote, but they synch easily. More importantly, I record notes by holding down a hardware button. After seeing Warner repeatedly tap that screen to record, I think I'll stick with speech notes in Outlook, particularly when driving in the rain.
