Nice thing about flying for twelve hours is it gives me a chance to catch up on media I've missed, such as Warner Crocker's entertaining demo of OneNote 2007 Mobile (http://www.gottabemobile.com/GottaBeMobileSoftwareInkshowOnTheRoadWithOneNoteMobile.aspx), both on his smartphone and when synching to his Tablet PC. Good show, my friend.
Presentation aside, the demo did dampen my enthusiasm over this aspect of OneNote 2007. Currently, I record voice notes on my Pocket PC and they synch to my notes in Outlook. No automatic speech recognition, as with OneNote, but they synch easily. More importantly, I record notes by holding down a hardware button. After seeing Warner repeatedly tap that screen to record, I think I'll stick with speech notes in Outlook, particularly when driving in the rain.
