Turns out the CIA (http://sumocat.blogspot.com/2006/11/cia-gets-shaft-again.html) isn't the only government agency getting shafted by the White House. The agency responsible for monitoring inappropriate spending and billing by U.S. contractors in Iraq will be going bye-bye (http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20061103/pl_afp/usiraqreconstruction) thanks to a provision snuck into a military spending bill. The agency had reported that not all contractors are playing fair and thousands of weapons are floating around Iraq unaccounted. Yet another casualty in the war on accountability.
