Yeah, I know I scoffed at the whole Macaca (http://sumocat.blogspot.com/2006/09/and-here-at-home.html) incident and said it wouldn't impact the Virginia Senate race. I said the Dems needed to skip the racism angle and come up with a new strategy. And you did so by rolling the race card into a character issue, which did tighten up the contest. Even if Allen wins, the race is still a lot closer than I gave the state credit for. Good for you.
