Yes, we live in a world where cataclysmic failure and absolute incompetence can be turned into a marketable resource. Following in the footsteps of dot-bombers who now give seminars on how they screwed up, Michael Brown, failed former FEMA frontman, has started his own disaster-preparedness firm, under the guise of teaching others to avoid his mistakes. This, of course, goes against a lesson learned by President Bush: Don't put Michael Brown in charge of disaster preparedness.

Incompetence Turns to Gold
