I'm a Farmer!
Okay, I'm ready to publicly announce that I've made the leap from infrequent gardener to substandard farmer with a rapidly growing crop of corn.
This is the result of a little experiment (http://sumocat.blogspot.com/2012/06/back-to-garden-plot.html) that I'm now able to share. Following part of the "Three Sisters" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Sisters_%28agriculture%29) principle of farming, we planted beans along with the corn, providing the corn with much needed nitrogen and securing the stalks to stakes.
