Virginia not McCain country after all
Despite my disheartening trip out to "McCain country (http://sumocat.blogspot.com/2008/10/if-youre-wondering-why-obama-isnt.html)", it seems McCain is not as strong in Virginia as I'd feared. According to the latest polls, Obama is leading across the state (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/06/obama-up-10-in-virginia-a_n_132268.html), not just in Northern Virginia, or as McCain's brother called us "commie country (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/05/mccains-brother-calls-vir_n_132011.html)". Looks like the commonwealth is finally starting to recognize, thanks to leaders like Mark Warner and Tim Webb, that strength and change can go hand in hand.

Seems like I remember a time when this was a technology blog.

I go with the flow, same as I've ever done (check the archives). Lot of politics going on right now, not a lot of tech stuff. Supposedly there's a Mac event going on in a week and a half though. I should be either ranting or raving over a new Mac Tablet (or lack thereof) then.
