Bailout passes House but how do we fix the economy?
The new cheese-topped (http://sumocats.blogspot.com/2008/10/adding-cheese-to-crap-sandwich.html) bailout bill just passed the House and Bush is sure to sign it into law. Still think it's crap at the core, but the cheese on top makes it palatable. Now the question is what to do about the economy.
Don't be fooled, people. This bailout addresses the immediate problem, but the underlying flaws of uncontrolled credit, rampant speculation, and declining personal savings are still in play. A new economic strategy needs to be implemented. It will be interesting to see what plan people will embrace.
