Unconnected in Central Virginia
Spent the weekend visiting Tanya's grandparents due to health-related issues. They live in Elkton, which is as unwired as you'd expect from a small town in Central Virginia. Thus, after my return to the networked world last night, I found it quite ironic that my friend Warner Crocker (http://www.gottabemobile.com/When+Mobile+Tech+Sinks+In+The+Overwork+Swamp.aspx) blogged about his own trials with being unconnected in Central Virginia. I can't relate to his "overwork swamp", but I've been in that zero-network zone. Not the best place to be when your workflow is built around the ability to communicate constantly, and I don't foresee a good solution coming soon. Sorry.
