I don't live in Maryland but if I did, I'd vote for Michael Steele (http://www.steeleformaryland.com/). Living in the DC Metro area, I catch the Maryland political ads, and Mr. Steele's latest is brilliant. It may not have much substance, but it is a welcome breath of fresh air amidst a smog of negative ads. Everyday, we are bombarded by attack ads and ads that prey on our fears. To me, those crap ads are as meaningless as an endorsement from a dog, but at least the puppy brings a smile to my face. Great ad Mr. Steele (http://www.steeleformaryland.com/ideasVideo.htm), but how about a cat in the next one? :P

  2. i am a registered democrat, but i have to say michael steele's claim to love puppies is genius because the rhetoric of the ad applies to the everyday mass of people, the general public, and the more intelligent people realize how really brilliant it is... the fantastic part is most people don't notice the rest of the issues he brings up in the ad.
i love the commercial, but what i love even more was rebuttle by the democratic party: "michael stelle may like puppies, but he LOOOOVES george bush". i still find it funny that michael steele is a black republican that also LOOOOOVES taking away a woman's choice.
