Thanks to my new iPhone 4, I can now post video on the go with relative ease. Having done two (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSEUOCGsmwk&feature=youtube_gdata)already (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSvW3empzw0&feature=youtube_gdata) and posting them in tiny form in my sideblog, I decided it would be best to make them a separate channel that feeds into my main lifestream. I'll try not to fill it with too many cat videos, but it's not like people don't like watching cats do crazy s--. [+/-] Hide/Show Text [+/-] Hide/Show Text
I love you videos!!! You should post them as a post and allow users to watch them on your main page, that way we can leave comments, and watch the videos without going to Youtube.
Just a suggestion. Do people think you're funny outside your videos. The front facing one was hilarious.
I experimented with that by putting the videos into Rambles, but that required resizing for the sideblog and more importantly, it's not instant.
A compromise I'm considering is posting longer videos in HD on the main page. Sending videos from my iPhone directly to YouTube results in compression. For anything special, I'd dl to my Tablet PC first, then upload to YouTube in full quality. This would afford me the opportunity to include my traditional ink introduction when I post them to the main page.
And yes, I don't mind saying people do find me amusing in real life. The reaction to my very first video shot on my iPhone 4 was "Your hilarious!" (graphic designers don't know how to spell). Was shot just for that person and is mostly an inside joke... and mostly ridiculous. :)
