Why must Internet Explorer suck?
As my boss would say, honest to Pete, how do web developers put up with Internet Explorer? I suppose it was easy during that five-year span when it was frozen at version 6. But now that Microsoft is advancing their web browser again, I have to wonder how web developers deal with the changes to the way IE renders code.
I have one web toy, Build 52 (http://www.markandtanya.us/scribbles/Build52.html), that takes advantage of some IE-only traits. Well, it looks like I'll need to get cracking on my XHTML revision because the new IE8 doesn't work with Build 52. Interestingly, it works fine in Firefox using the IE Tab (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419) extension so I'm not entirely out of luck yet. Seems odd though that the IE rendering engine works in another browser but not in IE. Oh well, guess I need to get coding.

Hello SUMO, the IE8 has a buildin compatiblty mode for IE7/6 engine
i guess the IE tabversion of FF is using thisone because in default mode the IE8 is staying closer to the w3c standards.
Anyway IE sucks 8.0 too :P
i will never go back from my FF.
