Lipstick on a pit bull
Looks like the McCain camp is in "scorched earth" mode, twisting anything (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/10/obama-strikes-back-on-con_n_125338.html) that comes out of Obama's mouth, such as the saying "lipstick on a pig." Apparently that saying is sexist, even when used to refer to policy, so everyone who's ever used it, from Johnny Bluecollar to John McCain, is a sexist pig jerkstore.
To avoid such assaults in the future, the Obama camp should stop using common sayings, like "lipstick on a pig", and switch to Palin-inspired sayings, like "lipstick on a pit bull." Remember, Palin herself said the difference between a "hockey mom" and a pit bull is lipstick, so that saying is practically GOP-approved. If anyone has a problem with it, they can thank Sarah Palin.
