Damn, them Palin women are fertile
Well, I'm still not voting for him, but I must commend John McCain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McCain) for putting a spark back into the campaign season. Here I was thinking I could nap until election day, but now I'm charged up with excitement thanks to an unforeseen boom of Sarah Palin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Palin) pregnancy stories.
Just two days ago, speculation exploded (http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/8/30/121350/137/486/580223) that Sarah Palin's newborn son was actually her grandson born to her teenage daughter. The theory was fueled in part by photos showing her daughter's possible baby bump (and Palin's entire lack of one). Today, that speculation was busted by an official announcement that Palin's daughter is five months pregnant (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20080901/cvn-palin-daughter/).
I personally could not care less about the Palin family tree, but it seems to me if you plan on making a big surprise splash in the national politics pool, you shouldn't be surprised by the sudden impact of attention and scrutiny, particularly when your political party is all about getting into other people's personal business.
Good luck to you, daughter of Saran Palin. I'm sure you didn't ask to be dragged into the public arena, but you're one of the players now.
