Free Wifi (with paid service plan)!
Everyone (http://lifehacker.com/388590/free-wi+fi-at-17000-att-hotspots-official) seems to be (http://www.jkontherun.com/2008/05/iphone-owners-w.html) excited (http://gizmodo.com/388519/free-att-iphone-wi+fi-is-officially-back) about the free wifi hotspot service AT&T is offering their iPhone customers. I agree it's good news, but WTF is up with the abuse of the word "free"? Why do I seem to be the only one reading this news and thinking "how is this free when you're paying them at least $60 a month?" Seriously, it's great that they're including wifi hotspot access with their iPhone service plan (which probably saves them money because it moves bandwidth usage off their phone network), but I don't see what's so free about something that requires payments of $60+ a month.
