Every time something bad happens, the President's first response is "I didn't know," or "nobody could nave foreseen this," or "we had bad intelligence." Now, it's become "none of us knew." Well, why the hell not? Does nobody tell you anything? Do you not ask any questions? Or are you just not paying attention to anything?

Couldn't agree more. I always tell my employees that whatever else is in your job description, your job is "to know." If someone says no one told me, I get a bit steamed. So the person who didn't tell you screwed up. Big deal, you should have asked them.

Exactly. You can't keep saying "I didn't know" at any other job, much less the most important job in the country.
