Poor Jamie Oliver
Been watching Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution (http://www.hulu.com/jamie-olivers-food-revolution) on Hulu and it is painful to see how ill-prepared he was for the ignorance and resistance he would face. No surprise to me that kids can't recognize common fruits and vegetables, nor use cutlery. Even less surprise that the adults think quantity trumps quality.
The big joke is how hard the rule is that the kids need to like the food served at the schools. The kids don't need to like math or reading or anything else forced on them at school, but it's critically important they like the food. Why not let them watch cartoons instead of history too?
