I am constantly getting phish emails trying to steal my PayPal info. Most of them are so poorly designed, particularly in spelling and grammar, that they are absurdly laughable. But this one is impeccable. Clear and simple. Hits the right panic buttons. Hopefully though, no one will fall victim to its insidious lure. If you see this email dump it!

Really good phish email

  1. Get Outlook 2007 and IE7, They catch nearly all of these.

  2. Yeah yeah yeah, this is just your way of justifying buying a Treo. I'm sure when the parcel arrives you'll put it down to an "administrative error" by the dispatch company too ;)

  3. Josh: I'll upgrade after they're out of beta (TEO 3.0 might be the only desktop app I've beta tested; typically I wait for the real deal), but my existing filters do catch nearly all of the crap emails. Still means I get a lot of crap, but most go straight to the crapper.

Chris: Dude, you totally blew my scam. Not cool.
